My Review:
If you like to read about the old west and the people that came on ships and then traveled on trains then this is the book for you. This books is Reid Lance Rosenthal's first book and he came out with a bang.
It begins in 1885 and with each chapter he brings in a new character, They all fall into place with this book and then the author will branch them our in the next 5 books that will be in this series.
They came from across the ocean but they are arrived to travel on the ship, then after they arrived in New York, they seem to be all headed in the same directions as they were on the same wagon train headed west.
The book has a lot of passion, fighting, killings and about anything else a good western book would have. I love history and one of the men came from Persia where my great-grandparents were from, he even boarded a ship in Burma the same as they did, so I was really interested in this part of the book. This is a good book and I am looking forward for the other five to come out.
This six-novel series is being compared by reviewers and authors to Lonesome Dove and Centennial.
This book was sent to me free just for my honest review by Rebecca from the Cadence Marketing Group.
I give it a 4.50, loved the story line just a little too much details about the love scenes.
